Newsletter – Autumn 2021

Dear customer,

As we ride towards the end of the year, we wanted to bring you up to speed on some news, updates and offers from the team here at BikeTrac.

2021 has certainly had its challenges for everyone, and while we’ve all found new ways to manage our daily lives, the bike thieves have continued their unrelenting assault.

From a theft perspective, our devices have been responsible for the safe recovery of 140 stolen machines year to date. A figure that in the grand scheme of bike theft still only scratches the surface.

As you hopefully know, the additional updates we made to our service over the last few years, such as Securitas, has enabled us to continue to report strong average recovery rates, proudly still scoring above 92%. But of course, this figure only covers the bikes fitted with our system, whereas the overall theft figure is still sadly grim.

We have however been proud to be part of several high profile recoveries where multiple bikes were recovered or significant arrests were made. An example of this is a Ducati Panigale V4 recovered from a travelers site with arrests made and a container yard identified as a hiding place for a number of motorcycles and stolen parts.

In more positive news, we’ve been pleased to bring users updates to the portal and app too. For example, users can now select miles or kilometers as well as viewing the Advantage section Via the App now also. You can view information videos on the app here once you’ve logged into your portal https://alltrac.co.uk/account/video-guides/

Speaking of the Advantage section, we’ve welcomed some new partners, who offer you as a BikeTrac subscriber some special deals. These can be viewed in the Advantage section, but include companies and products such as:

Dainese, Flux & co, Helite, Robertozon, Shoei, Arai, Schuberth, Tony James Designs protective film kits

In addition to the offers available from our partners on the Advantage section, we’re pleased to offer a FREE BikeTrac Medi-Kit for any purchases made in the BikeTrac Store. This includes the HARD Security range, as well as our four-wheel product, AutoTrac. This will be applicable until the 31st December 2021.

And as we look towards next year, we’re pleased to confirm that we plan to be at Motorcycle Live at the NEC in Birmingham in December. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and see some familiar faces.

As ever, we welcome any feedback that you may have as a valued customer; it’s important for us to make sure we are delivering products and services that are effective and relevant to you.

In the meantime, if you’d like to find out more about bike security, then please check out the first edition of ‘Moto Guardian’, a free publication aimed at debugging the myths around security and theft – see the link here:
